Chocolate Chip cookies and finger paints are the cure for daytime boredom when you can't go outside b/c your child is sick. Eli is suffering from an ear infection, and having some asthma flare-ups so we've been attached to the nebulizer for the past 3 days. So, today we made home made chocolate chip cookies! Not the pre-made mix in the tube...nope from scratch! We had so much fun making a mess in the kitchen. We both were covered from head to toe in flour! Then, while the cookies were cooking, we got out finger paints and covered ourselves with finger paint! Praise the Lord for Crayola washables! It turned out to be a pretty good day, despite the circumstances.

David played in a tennis tournament over the weekend. He is an awesome player, and won singles in his division, and his partner and he won doubles. Eli and I were able to see him play on one of the days. Eli was so excited to see his daddy play tennis that he ran out onto the court during a match to give his daddy a hug! It was so cute!

Here's a cute pic of Eli and his best buddy Erin playing in our sand box. My child....the comedian!
