Oh Holy Night

Oh Holy Night, the stars are brightly shining. It is the night of our dear Savior's birth. Praise the Lord! For unto us a child is born. Born in a manger. I often think of Mary, and what it must have been like to carry a child, knowing that this child was the Messiah, the Savior, the Son of God, the Redeemer, the Prince of Peace. And she gave birth to her son, Jesus, in a manger. Among the donkeys and cows, and a haystack for a crib. A baby, a laughing, drooling, crying, nursing, beautiful baby boy. A baby who has redeemed us from our sin and separation from God. Happy Birthday Jesus. Thank you for your free gift!

PS...Eli want's to make sure you like the Betty Crocker Strawberry Cake we baked for you today. He was concerned that you might like chocolate instead, but I assured him that strawberry would be fine!
